Vivo Origins Keto Base is a powder-based supplement which can be taken by dissolving one scoop of it in 12 to 16 oz of water, juice or milk. A user should not exceed 4 servings a day. The manufacturer does not mention what the best times of the day are for taking the supplement.

A container of 17 servings can be purchased online for $43.99. If taking 4 servings a day, one container will run out in about 4 days. This makes the price of the supplement extremely high, especially compared to some other manufacturers. This manufacturer does not offer any discounts when customers buy in bulk either like some other manufacturers do.

Possible Side Effects

It may take a day or two to adjust to being in ketosis, but there are no major side effects of it. This supplement is not designed for use by children and the manufacturer recommends that pregnant or nursing mothers should consult a doctor before using Vivo Origins Keto Base. The same applies to anyone taking chronic medication.

The ingredients included in the supplement and the dosage that they are offered at are in line with the scientific studies that looked at the effects of ketones salts. However, the price of this supplement is really high. The manufacturer is also not clear on how much of the purchase price they return for their guarantee, or if they cover products that have already been tested by the customer. This, unfortunately, makes the guarantee a bit useless. Customers should perhaps look at products which have a clear guarantee and ones that are offered at a more reasonable price.

Different Types of Keto Diets

What all of these types of the keto diet have in common is their goal to get your body into the natural metabolic state of ketosis so you can burn fat, instead of carbs, for energy.

Standard ketogenic diet (SKD)
